Josephs has a full menu of Italian food with classic dishes like eggplant parmigiana, veal marsala, chicken parmigiana, shrimp scampi, lasagna, and baked ziti. They also have home made desserts like cannoli, tiramisu, cheesecake, gelato, and baklava.

Spending a few hours on Atlantic Beach in cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean and then heading to Josephs for pizza makes for a great day.

The crust at Josephs is home made and it takes a little longer for the Pizza to cook but itРІР‚в„ўs worth it. We plan going back for more anytime we are in Jacksonville.

We had two different pizzas - a cheese pizza for the kids and a vegetarian pizza. Both pizzas were perfect. We took the left overs home and had them for dinner - there was a little fight over who got to eat the three pieces we had. And there was a discussion about going back the next day for more pizza.

Josephs Pizza has been serving the Jacksonville area for over 50 years. The original restaurant is located in downtown Jacksonville. The Inside Florida team recently had lunch at the Atlantic Beach location that is just one block from the beach.

If you love pizza you know that great pizza is rare. There are plenty of good pizza restaurants but that rare gem that you recommend to friends as great pizza is rare indeed. Josephs Pizza in Jacksonville is absolutely excellent.
